3 levels of AA and 3 of classic motion blur(video wmv, 1.7 Mb)
results of still image are similar but animation is much better.
The slowness of previous attempts was because of the use of
photoreal motion blur instead of classic which is less real but
much faster
next add dust for footsteps(if possible) |

precision blur mech image sequence and made source smaller(480
to 240 square)
gradient on mech luminosity to reduce contrast on background
mechs
gaussian reconstruction to help blur background mechs
proper mech angles for direction of motion, was facing camera
tried DOF blur but that made foreground mechs ugly
tried motion blur and increase AA but extremely slow and no
improvement |
